The Nashville Police Department initiated a traffic stop on Monday evening in the Citgo parking lot and arrested 25-year old Zachariah Greene of Elkville for Driving While License Suspended, Possession of Heroin, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe, as well as citing him on several traffic violations. At that time, they also arrested a passenger, 25-year old Roy Graff of Pinckneyville for Possession of Heroin, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Hypdermic Syringe and for Obstructing Justice. The arrests came after the K-9 officer alerted for drugs. On Tuesday, they assisted with traffic control on Route 127 near Mockingbird Road, as a truck broke down in the middle of that intersection. On Wednesday, officers responded to the 11,700 block of Route 127 for a child custody interference, and assisted the EMS on 3 calls, one being in the 127 Lounge parking lot, one at McDonald’s and one on the 600 block of West High Street. At night they initiated a traffic stop on East Elm Street at North Kaskaskia Street and arrested 33-year old Sarah Crow of Jonesboro for Driving While License Suspended. On Thursday, they responded to an alarm on the 17,800 block of Exchange Avenue and conducted a welfare check on a residence on the 400 block of North Hoffman Street. On Friday, they responded to the Sheriff’s Office for ministerial alliance and went to the 400 block of North Grand Avenue for a battery complaint. On Saturday, the NPD responded to the 800 block of South Mill Street for a report of identity theft, went to the 100 block of East David Drive for a report of threats and responded to the 1,600 block of South Mill Street for a suspicious person. On Sunday, they responded to the 100 block of East Saint Louis Street for suspicious activity and also arrested 46-year old Brian Overton of Sesser on a warrant.
