Last week, the Washington County Sheriff’s Department responded to 2 separate domestic batteries and made a couple of arrests.  Last Wednesday, they responded to a residence in Richview that 42-year old Justin M. Brake of Richview allegedly made contact with his wife, Julie Brake, on the arm.  He was arrested and charged with Domestic Battery.  Bond was set at $3,000, but he was bailed out this week on $300.  Brake is not allowed to have any contact of any kind with his wife.  One week ago, deputies responded to an Addieville residence and arrested 58-year old Clyde W. Crane of Addieville.  He allegedly kicked a door and verbally threatened a child of the home, placing her in fear of receiving harm.  He also allegedly made contact with another family member, Katherine S. Crane, by pushing her while arguing with the child.  He is in the Washington County Jail pending the formal filing of charges of Domestic Battery, Assault and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, with bond to be set.
