The Nashville Police Department was busy in the past week.  Last Monday, they responded to an alarm on North Hoffman Street, went to the 700 block of East Holzhauer Drive for an out of control subject and assisted the fire department with a call on the 700 block of West Lebanon Street.  At night they also initiated a traffic stop and arrested 26-year old Dustin J. Garner of Nashville for DUI.  He was also cited for Speeding and Improper Lane Usage, while also receiving verbal warnings for Failure to Notify the Secretary of State’s Office of an Address Change and for a Defective Windshield.  One week ago, they responded to the 100 block of East David Drive for a theft and assisted the Washington County Sheriff’s Office with 2 subjects behind the jail.  On Wednesday, officers responded to the 500 block of West Chester Street for a domestic dispute, then went to the 500 block of West Chester Street for a property dispute, conducted a welfare check at a location on the 900 block of West Saint Louis Street and responded to the area of Route 15 and South Bryan Street for a suspicious vehicle.  On Thursday, they went to the city reservoir for a report of a suspicious vehicle, assisted with a property exchange on the 500 block of West Chester Street, responded to Tom’s Grocery Store for a report of a suspicious vehicle and also located and stopped a vehicle, due to a report of a reckless driver.  29-year old Ali S. El-Ayins of Pinckneyville was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance of Heroin, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Hypodermic Needle and Possession of a Controlled Substance of Diazepan.  On Friday, the NPD responded to an alarm on Mockingbird Road, took a report of a child custody visitation interference and responded to an alarm on the 17,000 block of Exchange Avenue.
