Another Jefferson County school received a bomb threat yesterday, this time the J.L. Buford Intermediate Education Center in Mount Vernon.  Students were evacuated to the Baptist church next to the school.  No details been released at this time.  This is the second bomb threat in two days to a Mount Vernon school.  Students were evacuated Monday from Casey Middle School students were taken to Saint Mary’s Catholic Church during Monday’s evacuation.  In a threat received by Casey Middle School on February 22nd, a 13 year old juvenile was arrested later that afternoon in connection with the bomb threat and was sent to the Franklin County Juvenile Detention Center.  Those threats follow a pair to the Mount Vernon Township High School.
