The Illinois State Police report there was a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 64 eastbound, near milepost 50, just past the Nashville exit at 12:57 PM yesterday.  According to the preliminary report, a pick-up truck pulling a camper and a semi-tractor trailer truck, were both westbound on I-64 in neighboring lanes of traffic.  Strong winds caused the camping trailer to jackknife, causing a collision with the semi-trailer.  The camping trailer flipped over blocking both lanes of traffic.  There was minimal damage to the semi-trailer.  The roadway was blocked for approximately 1 ½ hours.  Everyone was wearing their seatbelts and there was no mention of any injuries.  The semi was driven by 60-year old Michael Hartley of Patoka, Indiana, while the pick-up was driven by 32-year old Danny O’Donnel of Belleville.  There were 2 passengers in the pick-up.  There are no charges at this time.
