The Nashville Police Department was very busy in the past week. Last Monday, they responded to the 400 block of North Mill Street for criminal damage to property, went to the 600 block of East National Mine Road for an unruly subject, responded to the 500 block of North Goodner Street for a welfare check, went to the 700 block of South Mill Street and conducted a search warrant at a residence on the 300 block of West Belleville Street following the arrest of the resident, 20-year old Mitchell Boston of Nashville, for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance. After the search, Boston was additionally charged with 5 counts of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, 2 more counts of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Obstructing Justice by concealing or destroying evidence, and Unlawful Possession of Alcohol by a Minor. He was taken to the Washington County Jail. On April 24th, they had arrested Boston on a warrant, but also charged him with Unlawful Possession of Cannabis and 2 counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. One week ago, they responded to the 500 block of West Goodner Street for a domestic disturbance, went to the 900 block of West Maple Street for an ordinance violation and responded to the 12,500 block of Route 127 for a structure fire at Print Crazee, which was reported last week. On Wednesday, officers took a report of a phone scam from a resident from someone claiming to be from the U.S. Treasury, responded to the 1,500 block of South Mill Street for an alarm, went to the 17,500 block of Mockingbird Road for a medical call, and responded to the 500 block of South Mill Street for a 911 hang-up call. On Thursday, they went to the 1,100 block of West Adams street for a medical call, responded to the intersection of Routes 127 and 15 for a stalled vehicle, went to the 700 block of South Mill Street for an unwanted subject, responded to the 100 block of North Mill Street for a child custody interference and went to McDonald’s for a report of a suspicious person. On Friday, the NPD responded to the 11,700 block of Route 127 for recovered property, went to the 11,700 block of Holzhauer’s Automall Drive for a report of fraud and initiated a traffic stop at night on South Kaskaskia Street at West High Street, which resulted in 26-year old Patricia T. Koepke of Okawville being issued citations for Improper Lighting, as the vehicle only had one headlight, and for Illegal Transportation of Alcohol. Passenger, 38-year old Raymond E. Burkett of Alton was cited for Illegal Transportation of Alcohol, while another passenger, 29-year old Katherine D. Hall of Belleville was cited for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis, after the K-9 unit altered on the vehicle. On Saturday, they arrested Anthony Voss of Carlyle for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, responded to the 600 block of North Mill Street for a suspicious vehicle, went to the 400 block of East Maple Street for a combative subject, responded to the 1,000 block of South Heamon Drive for a medical call, went to the 11,600 block of Route 127 for a 911 hang-up call and responded to the 800 block of North Kaskaskia Street for suspicious activity. On Sunday, officers went to the 1,000 block of South Washington Street for an unwanted subject, responded to a report of a reckless driver in Memorial Park, went to the 500 block of North Washington Street for an unwanted subject, responded to the 400 block of East Maple Street for a combative subject and initiated a traffic stop on Route 127 at the Interstate 64 overpass, which resulted in 30-year old Amy J. Sanders of Woodlawn being cited for Driving While License Suspended and Operating a Vehicle with Suspended Registration.
