Christ Our Rock Lutheran High School held its most successful Sterling Evening dinner and benefit auction to date on April 9th at the school and netted a record $82,500 to support the continued operation of the school. Included in this amount is $18,000 for a special fund project to purchase new security lights and cameras for the school. Tuition covers a little less than half of the operating costs of the decade-old Christian high school. The remainder is covered by association congregations, generous benefactors, a multitude of smaller contributions, and the success of events such as the Sterling Evening. More than 400 people attended the evening, which featured approximately 400 silent and live auction items. Attendees were treated to a three-course meal and CORLHS students served as dinner hosts and attendees were provided dinner music to set a festive atmosphere.
