The Illinois State Police is providing the following updates concerning the ongoing search for 35-year old Dracy “Clint” Pendleton in northern Pope County.  The Federal Bureau of Investigations is offering a reward for information that directly leads to the identification and apprehension of the subject, Dracy “Clint” Pendelton.  The reward is in the amount of up to $10,000.  Persons with information can contact the ISP at 618-542-1483.  Champaign County Crime Stoppers is also offering up to $1,000 for information that directly leads to the identification and apprehension of Pendelton.  Persons should call 866-765-8327 to provide information.  OnSaturdayatapproximately10:45 PM,a Mahomet Police Officer was involved in a shooting with Pendleton.  The Officer and Pendleton exchanged gunfire and Pendleton fled the scene.  The officer was shot in the arm and it is believed Pendleton received wounds, possibly a gunshot to the neck, during the confrontation, but it is unknown to what degree.  Pendleton may seek treatment for his injuries at a medical facility. He is believed to be armed with an AK- 47.  He has also been reported as having a prior unrelated knee injury that would possibly cause him to walk with a limp.  The Illinois State Police want to reiterate that they are actively seeking a peaceful resolution to this incident.  There does not need to be any further violence.
