An Indiana man facing four drug charges in Washington County had two of the charges dismissed yesterday. Leonard E. Voyles of Sellersburg, Indiana, had been charged with possession of more than 500 grams of cannabis, possession of a controlled substance, and two charges related to bringing contraband into a penal institution. The two charges related to bringing contraband into a penal institution were dismissed, but Voyles still faces two felony drug charges. Voyles agreed to waive his preliminary hearing, and a pre-trial date was set for August 2 at the Washington County Judicial Center. The current jury trial date is set for August 22.
