A plea deal was reached yesterday in the drug case against Lebanon resident Eddron Broaden in Washington County Court. Broaden had been charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of hydrocodone on December 22 of last year. Broaden agreed to plead guilty to the methamphetamine charges in exchange for the hydrocodone charges being dismissed. After accepting the terms of the plea deal, Judge Daniel Emge sentenced Broaden to 48 months of probation, 90 days in the Washington County Jail, a $1,000 fine, and Broaden must undergo a substance abuse assessment. Additionally, Broaden would pay court fees of $5,437 less the $4,000 bond that had already been paid.
