The Hoyleton Hofbraufest is set for July 8 through 10 at the park in Hoyleton. A full weekend of events starts Friday at 5 p.m. when the food stands open and the vendor and craft fair kicks off. There will be a wine tasting in the Hoyleton Community Club building from 6 to 10 p.m., and the dedication of the new gazebo is at 7. Music by DJ Dwonka and Funke will run from 7:30 to 11:30. The Hofbraufest 5K starts at 8 a.m. on Saturday, with the race registration starting at 6:30 a.m. The youth half mile run will follow the 5K at 9 a.m., and the food stands open at 11 a.m. Saturday afternoon will feature the washers tournament, tractor/lawn mower show, vendor fair, pet parade, kiddie tractor pull and more. Jamie’s Tumbling goes at 4 p.m., and the bratwurst and pork steak dinner runs from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Music from Joe Lukasik and Clusterpuck goes all night, and the flippy cup contest starts at 8.
