The Washington County Sheriff’s Office were on hand for an accident in Irvington Friday. Dolores Howe of Irvington struck a driven by Greg Boatright of Centralia on Crestview Drive. No injuries were reported in the accident. On Saturday, a sheriff’s deputy assisted the Illinois State Police, Nashville Police and Nashville Fire with a one-car accident on State Route 127 near New Mexico Road. The sheriff’s office also provided motorists along Interstate 64 on June 28 and June 30. The Nashville Police Department took a report on a two-vehicle accident on the east bound off ramp of I-64 last Monday when a vehicle driven by Nancy Paddock of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, rear ended a vehicle driven by Monique Bodlen of Collinsville. On June 28, Nashville Police took a report of a hit and run in the parking lot at Innertech where a vehicle driven by Peggi Thompson of Salem was struck by an unknown vehicle while Thompson was at work. It was the second hit and run incident in the last couple of weeks, as Nashville officers took a report from Tammi Elliston of Nashville about a subject driving a red car hitting her vehicle and leaving the scene.
