The schedules for area 4-H shows were released earlier this month. In Washington County, things kick off at the county fair starting today. The Bicycle Contest is set for 9 a.m., with the small animal shows starting tonight at 6:30 p.m. The livestock shows start tomorrow morning at 8 a.m., with the dairy show set for 10 a.m. on Thursday. The Swine Premiere will be held at Wenneman Meat Market in St. Libory at 9 a.m. Jefferson County’s events kick of July 15 with an archery competition, followed by the general projects show starting at 8:30 a.m. on July 18. The Clinton County Fair will be the venue for the county’s 4-H shows with the small animal shows July 17 following the general projects shows July 16 at Carlyle Junior High School. The Marion County show will be livestock show will be held July 30 at the Marion County Fairgrounds.
