The Washington County Sheriff’s Office took a report of an accident on Thursday on State Route 160 in which Dennis M. Karban of Nashville struck a ditch after swerving to miss a deer. No injuries were reported. On Tuesday, a sheriff’s deputies performed motorist assists on State Route 127 near Filmore Road and on State Route 51 near Youth Center Road. Also on Tuesday, deputies assisted the Nashville Fire Department and Nashville Police Department with traffic control for downed power lines. A deputy also responded to a report of an improperly parked vehicle on Interstate 64 near Mile Marker 55.
