Best in Show winners were announced from the Washington County 4-H Home Economics Show last month. In the Child Development event, sponsored by Washington County HCE, Abigail Meyer of the Hoyleton Boosters took the best in show title. Lee’s Variety sponsored the sewing and textiles competition, and Megan Rennegarbe of the Okawville Busy Bees was named best in show. Mallory Unverfehrt was best in show in the fashion revue category, which was sponsored by the Addieville Area Jaycees. Gracue Hoffman of the Nashville Eager Beavers took the top prize in the foods and nutrition/cake decorating event, which was sponsored by the Addieville Area Jaycees. Washington County HCE sponsored the Interior Design category, with Carli Hoffman of the Nashville Eager Beavers being named Best in show. More winners from the Washington County 4-H shows will be announced throughout the week.
