The Washington County Board voted to raise several fees during the regular meeting Tuesday night. The circuit clerk’s office will now charge $25 for both the court document storage fee and the court automation fee. Both of these fees had previously been set at $15. Additionally, clerk;s law library fee was upped $10 as well, from $5 to $15. After some discussion, the board approved the county’s Official Comprehensive Plan as an advisory document with the understanding that the plan is not to be used to regulate or control future actions by the board. State’s Attorney Heath Hooks reported that his office had collected $916 in fines and fees, and Sheriff Danny Bradac advised the board that his office had made 47 criminal arrests, 102 traffic arrests and made 66 warnings. The next meeting is scheduled for October 11.
