Several arrests were made by area law enforcement over the last week. Last Monday saw the Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrest 27-year-old Jacob M. Hackmann of Kell for a Washington County warrant. The Nashville Police Department also made an arrest last Monday when 43-year-old Scott Droney of St. Louis was taken into custody on an out-of-state warrant for fraud. He was taken to the Washington County Jail without incident. On Wednesday, Nashville Police arrested 25-year-old Jonathan Reed of Herrin for operating a vehicle with suspended registration. He was also issued a civil citation for unlawful possession of cannabis. 26-year-old Stephanie A. Shaw of Ashley was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday for a failure to appear warrant. Also on Thursday, Nashville Police charged two juveniles with illegal possession of alcohol and released them to their parents. The sheriff’s office also took a report of burglary from a motor vehicle in Dubois last Monday, and assisted the Carlyle Police Department in locating a subject wanted for theft on Saturday.
