Last Monday saw the Nashville Police serve a warrant at the sheriff’s office. 48-year-old Bonnie Austin of East Carondelet was served a warrant at the Washington County Sheriff’s Department building. On Tuesday, a Nashville officer arrested Andrew McCoy of Nashville on a Washington County Warrant, and Nashville police assisted a sheriff’s deputy with a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of North Park Street in Hoyleton early Friday morning. A traffic stop resulted in the arrest of an Alton man on Sunday. Nashville police conducted a traffic stop on State Route 127 on the Interstate 64 overpass early just after midnight and subsequently arrested 22-year-old Craig Stepheny of Alton for driving while license revoked and for an outstanding Williamson County warrant. He was also cited for unlawful possession of cannabis and for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Washington County Jail for the charges.
