Washington County Animal Control is housing 17 animals including 11 dogs at the animal shelter on Richview Road in Nashville. Awaiting adoption are a 10-month-old yellow lab; 1-year-old male cattledog mix; 3-year-old male lab mix; 1-year-old female pit bull; 2-year-old female pit mix; 3-year-old male lab mix; 1-year-old female pit bull; 6-month-old female pit bull; 2-year-old neutered male pit mix; 5-year-old neutered male boxer mix; 1-year-old female Pyrenees mix. Dog adoption fee is $30, and that includes an AVID identification chip and $50 off spaying or neutering. The shelter also has six cats which can be adopted free of charge.
