Two state track meets will be held in Carterville and Herrin tomorrow Saturday May 13^th.  Boys and Girls track and field athletes will participate at the Class L and Class S meet.  Class L is going to be held at Tri-C Elementary in Carterville, while Class S is going to be at the Herrin Sports Complex in Herrin.  Area athletes are going to participate in this state meet.  From Nashville in Class L for the girls, Kylie Heidel in the 400 Meter Dash.  Hailey Baugh in the 800 Meter Run.  The Nashville Girls 4 by 400 Meter Relay.  On the Class S side, Okawville, Ashley and Coulterville have some athletes participating in Herrin, that includes Okawville’s Daniel Jansen in the High Jump.  Nick Rulevish and Ashley student Caleb Klein in the 100-meter Hurdles.  The Coulterville 4 by 200 meter 7^th grade squad.  Okawville’s Jansen again in the 400-meter Dash.  The 1600-meter run with Okawville’s Lucas Frederking.  The 8^th grade 4 by 200-meter relay for Okawville Junior High.  Coulterville’s Drake Hobbs in the 7^th grade 100-meter Dash.  Frederking again will participate in the 800-meter run.  On the women’s side, Bryleigh Prest of Okawville will run in the 100-meter 8^th grade Dash.  The Class S State Track Meet in tomorrow at the Herrin Sports Complix in Herrin and the Class L State Track Meet is tomorrow as well at the Tri-C Elementary in Carterville.  Both meets will weigh-ins from 9 to 915, a coach’s meeting at 915 and begin the girls high jump at 930.  Field Events start from 10 to 1015 and the finals for running events starting from 1130 to noon.
