Two residents from Ina were arrested on Wednesday after a report of child abuse by the Department of Children and Family Services.  28-year old Ashley White and 29-year-old Travis Smith were arrested for endangerment of a child and possession of methamphetamine, according to the reports.  The DCFS received the report around 6pm on Tuesday of possible child abuse at their home.  An investigation was conducted, which led to a search warrant to be issued for the home.  Officers arrived to the 600 block of South Orchard Avenue in Ina, where White and Smith were both arrested and taken into custody.
