Local track and field athletes from Nashville competes at the state competition in Charleston for the prelims at state.  In the Long Jump, Sydney Schnitker got 10^th in her flight and 19^th overall.  Kylie Kozuszek did not reach the minimum requirement in the Pole Vault.  Carlie Hoffman got 3^rd in her flight and 21^st overall in Shot Put.  Jadah Heidel got 6^th in her flight and 27^th overall in the triple jump.  Sydney Schnitker got 10^th in the flight and 14^th overall in the triple jump.  In the Discus Throw, Josie Middleton got 6^th in her flight and 30^th overall.  Nashville’s 4 by 8 team got 8^th in their heat and 21^st overall.  Jadah heidel got 4^th in her heat and 15^th overall in the 400-meter dash.  In the 300-hurdles, Taylor Cook got 4^th in her heat and 11^th overall.  In the 4 by 4, Nashville got 6^th in their heat and 21^st overall.  For Okawville, Audrey Jansen tied for 5^th in her heat in the high jump and 17 high jumpers got the requirement of 5 foot 1 inches to head to the finals.  In the triple jump, Madison Hackstadt got 11^th in her flight and 17^th overall.  Okawville and their 4 by 8 team got 2^nd in their heat and got 3^rd overall.  They will advance to the state finals tomorrow.  In the open 800-meter, Madelyn Tepe got 5^th in her heat and 19^th overall.  Also in the 800-meter run was Mallory Unverferht, she got 7^th in her heat and 21^st overall.  The state finals will be at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston tomorrow.
