The Nashville Police Department responded to 26 calls this past week.  On Tuesday May 16, officers were called to assist for a report of a vehicle on fire along Interstate 64.  Near mile marker 50 and ½, just before 930am, Nashville PD came to see that the vehicle was on fire with all the occupants outside.  Police provided traffic control while the fire was being extinguished.  One arrested on Wednesday after a report of domestic battery in progress.  Officers arrived to the 300 block of West Walnut Street to find the two near the address.  31-year-old Amy Fernandez of Nashville was arrested for domestic batter after she allegedly struck Hoyleton resident Dawn Fernandez in the face and head by using her fists.  Amy was taken to the Washington County Jail following her arrest just after 1am.  A report of a broken hydraulic line came in on Wednesday at 125pm.  Officers arrived to State Route 127, at State Route 15, to control traffic until the cleanup of the spilling hydraulic fluid on the pavement was cleared up.  A regular traffic stop on Saturday leads to an arrest of a St. Louis resident.  Just after 615pm, 48-year-old Lonnell Dixon got booked for driving while having a suspended license and having a felony warrant for his arrest inside of Crawford County, Missouri.  Lonnell got taken to the Washington County Jail following his arrest.  Four reports of thefts occurred in Nashville this week.  That includes one on Monday May 15th at the 300 block of West Maple Street, on Thursday at the 700 block of West Vernor Street and two on Saturday at the 600 block of West Maple Street and the 400 Block of West Adams Street.
