The Nashville Post Office wants to thank all area residents who helped and participated in the 2017 Food Drive this last weekend. Nashville carriers were able to collect over 960 pounds of food, which was donated by having residents leave denotations outside by their mailbox and delivered to the local community food pantries. Across the county, the food drive by the Postal Service has donated millions of pounds of food of non-perishable food. The items were collected and distributed to local charities around the country. This event has gone for 25 years and continues to be one of the most successful food drive around our country.
