The Food and Drug Administration has issued a voluntary recall for a company that supplies packaged nuts to Aldi Stores in Illinois.  That company, Southern Grove Cashew Halves and Pieces with sea salt is having 2 lots of their product recalled because of the possibility of glass pieces.  The canisters were 8-ounces with best by dates of 11/27/18 to 11/28/18 or November 27th 2018 through November 28th 2018.  That date will be printed at the bottom of the cans.  These cans were distributed to Aldi locations in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nebraska, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington DC, Wisconsin and West Virginia.  If you believe that you have a contaminated 8-ounce can of Southern Grove Cashew Halves and Pieces with sea salt with best by dates of November 27th 2018 to November 28th 2018, either throw it away or contact your local Aldi’s for a full refund.  If you have any questions, call Star Snacks at 201-882-45-93 or email at recallFEQ01@gmail.com
