A Sunday night bomb threat at the Franklin Hospital is still under investigation by Benton Police.  The 1st threat was received at 5:13pm at the hospital, with a 2nd one following a minute later.  Patients and employees from the hospital, along with the residents at the nearby Helia Healthcare, were immediately evacuated.  The Illinois Secretary of State Police bomb squad unit was then called in and began to investigate.  They ended up finding nothing at the hospital and all was clear at 9:30pm.  Residents and employees were then allowed back into their facilities.  Illinois State Police and the FBI are working along with the Benton Police Department in this case.  The FBI is helping to assess whether or not the threat was terror-related.  Police are attempting to figure out who made the call and where the source possible came from, but they do not have much to work with at this time.
