The Washington County Sheriff’s Department responded to 18 calls this past week from Monday July 10th to Sunday July 17th. On Tuesday July 11th, 3 individuals were arrested. They included 27-year-old David Hibbs Jr. of Peoria, 27-year-old Jose Zurita of Nashville and 34-year-old Matthew Peters of Centralia. Hibbs Jr. was arrested for having a Washington County warrant by the Sheriff’s Department. Zurita was booked for having no valid driver’s license and got issued a citation for speeding. Peters was arrested for aggravated domestic battery, resisting a peace officer and disorderly conduct. Last Wednesday, Deputies responded to rural Hoyleton in regard to a phone scam with a resident. An arrest was made on Thursday to another Centralia resident, in connection to a Pike County warrant. That individual, 19-year-old Trentyn Louvier-Gibson was arrested after turning himself into the Sheriff’s Office.
