Five crashed occurred in Washington County this past week, 4 conducted by Nashville Police Officers and 1 by Sheriff’s Deputies. The 1st one was last Tuesday, July 18th, at approximately 1256pm. Nashville Officers responded to State Route 127 at Enterprise Avenue for a report of a 2-vehicle accident. A vehicle, driven by Craig Williams of St. Louis, did not stop in time and rear-ended a 2nd vehicle, driven by Thomas Murphy of Pacific, Missouri. No injuries occurred and a traffic crash report was completed at the scene. The next accident was on Wednesday, just before noon. A 2-vehicle crash occurred along North Mill Street, at East Elm Street. A vehicle, driven by Coulterville resident Alexanra Thornton rear ended a stopped car by new Minden resident Robert Keeney. Once again, no injuries were reported on this case. The 3rd accident, which saw two tickets issued, occurred on Wednesday night, after a call at 1037pm. This accident was in regard of a teenage juvenile hitting a parked vehicle, owned by Aaron Minard of Breese. The Juvenile reported the accident at approximately 1040pm, with her cited for Failure to report an accident to police and failure to give information after striking an unattended vehicle. The 4th accident conducted by the Nashville Police Department was on Friday, July 21st, just after 1230pm. This crash was at 456 East St. Louis Street, at the Kroger’s parking lot. Kathy Reu of Nashville was attempting to back out of her parked spot when she hit a vehicle, which was parked, by Judith Heiman of Nashville. No injuries were reported. The last accident, this time conducted by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, occurred on Friday as well. 62-year-old James Turner and his passenger, 52-year-old Melody Kay Turner, both of Richview, were traveling along a roadway in Richview, when the motorcycle hit a dog that ran onto the road. No injuries occurred after this motorcycle accident.
