The Washington County Sheriff’s Department responded to 14 calls this past week, from Tuesday, July 18th through Sunday July 23rd. on Thursday, deputies responded to I-64 in regard to a report of debris on the interstate near mile marker 36. Also last Thursday, an individual was arrested for having an outstanding Washington County warrant. 39-year-old Natasha Simmons of Cahokia was arrested for that warrant arrest and was transported from the St. Clair County Jail. Deputies also last Thursday in Nashville recovered missing property after a call from the owner. On Sunday, after the high wind and rain in the area, deputies responded to Richview in regard to a broken power pole. Deputies notified Ameren to help with the broken pole. Lastly, Deputies responded to Ashley for a report of domestic battery and domestic trouble.
