A Centralia resident is arrested, in connection to a reported incident over the weekend, when a home in Sandoval was entered and items were stolen. Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 25-year-old Christopher Carroll, in regard to the alleged residential burglary and criminal damage to property during the robbery. That occurred at a home along East Commercial Street in Sandoval. The home’s resident reported to deputies that she left for 30 minutes, but when she returned, a window screen had been damaged and a TV and Xbox system was taken from the home. Carroll was found to be in possession of the alleged items in his vehicle. He then was taken to the Marion County Jail, where he will remain on charges of burglary and criminal damage, as well as having an outstanding Marion and Fayette county warrant.
