The Nashville Police Department responded to 26 calls this past week. On Tuesday, February 13th, an officer was conducting a routine traffic stop on a woman, which resulted in her arrested for several traffic violations. 34-year-old Mindy Wilson of Texico was arrested for driving while having a suspended license and for unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Her two passengers were also arrested following the stop. 51-year-old Samantha Wyman of Texico was booked for having an outstanding Medina County Warrant in Texas. Also arrested was 24-year-old Racey Hicks of Mt. Vernon, for unlawful possession of methamphetamine and for unlawful possession of hypodermic syringes. All 3 subjects were then taken to the Washington County Jail for their arrests. On Thursday, February 15th, officers responded to the 800 block of East Lebanon Street, in regard to a possible overdose. EMS staff was then called to the scene. Also that Thursday, Police caught a loose dog, in the area of South Lafayette Street and West High Street. Police apprehended the dog and took it to the Animal Control. Nashville Police also assisted the Illinois State Police Department in regard to an assistance of a trooper during a traffic stop on Sunday. That was along I-64, near mile marker 48.
