A man who was implicated in the death earlier this year to an Illinois child welfare employee has been officially indicted to 1st-degree murder charges. Reports show that Andrew Sucher of Rock Falls was officially indicted on Thursday on the new charges, along with appearing in court on Friday. He did also have his bond increased to $1-million. The autopsy of 59-year-old Pamela Knight of Dixon reports that she died on February 8th due to complications of blunt force head injuries. Knight was attempting to take a child into protective custody last September at the Carroll County home of Sucher’s parents, when Sucher allegedly kicked her in the head and fractured her skull. Sucher did plead not guilty to aggravated battery of a child, from a July 29th incident where he was accused of dragging a 6-year-old child by the foot and struck him in the face. He was free on bond in that case, when he attacked Knight.
