According to the precipitation numbers from the Nashville Water Plant, the month of April was drier then what its been in years past. We saw 2.69-inches of rain this past month, bringing the total up to 18.32-inches through 4 months of the year. The total rainfall for the year is still higher than average by about 4 inches, due to the high rain volume in February and March. Over the past 2 years, we saw an average of 6 and ½ inches of rain for April. The temperature for this past month was right at average. We had an average temperature of 48.75-degrees, with the high on April 12th at 80-degrees and a low of 26 back on April 7th and 8th.
