The Nashville Friends of the Library are hosting a poetry contest and an open mic night reading on Monday, May 14th. The featured special guest poet will be Elizabeth Sprehe for the open mic poetry night. Original poems may be entered into the contest, with all ages and types of work welcome. Participants must sign up in advance, in order to read your work, with all submissions having a deadline of May 10th. The grand prize is an Amazon Kindle Fire 7 with Alexa.
