One is injured, following a single-vehicle accident on Friday in Centralia. Centralia Police and firefighters, along with EMS staff, responded to a report of a vehicle hitting a utility standard along the southside of McCord Street, in front of a building containing 3 businesses at around 204pm. 32-year-old Aireal Butler of Centralia struck the wooden light standard. The force of the accident sheared the pole almost in half, with the top park of the used for the trio of businesses. Butler was traveling eastbound along McCord Street, when a vehicle pulled out in front of her, and she ended up leaving the roadway after swerving and struck the standard. Butler was taken to an area hospital for treatment of her unknown injuries, with her car having to be towed from the scene. No business lost any power from the accident or suffered from any other problems.
