The 50th annual Hoyleton Hofbraufest starts today and runs through Saturday and Sunday. Food stands open up at 5pm tonight, with craft and vendor showings until 8 and rides available until 10. The sand volleyball tournament will begin at 530 tonight, with the Texas hold em’ tournament from 6 to 10pm. The annual 5k will start at 8am, with packup and registration starting at 630, with the continuation of the sand volleyball tournament at 9. Food stands open back up at 11, with the washer’s tournament starting too. The Small Town USA parade will be at 4pm on Saturday, with the flippy cup contest at 8. The Hofbraufest Car Show starts at 8am, horseshoe tournament at 12-noon and the queen of hearts drawing will be at 4pm. Music will be provided by the Turnpike Crusiers at 730 tonight, Pat Turner from 7am to 4pm on Saturday, Joe Lukasik at 5, Ben Nation at 730pm Saturday, Joe Lukasik again from 2 to 4 on Sunday and ending the night will be the Polka Connection from 4 to 8pm on Sunday.
