Three are injured from an accident on I-64 in Washington County on Friday morning. A 2012 Freightliner truck, with a Great Dane trailer, and another semi truck both traveling west on I-64 in Washington County, at mile marker 50, where the freightliner struck the other in the rear on the right side of the lane. 61-year-old Charles Rile of Shobonier was the driver of that Freightliner, had to be taken to an area hospital for treatment of his minor injuries. He was also cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. 34-year-old Sulimon Mellette of Philadelphia, and a passenger in the semi-truck were both taken to an area hospital for treatment of their injuries.
