The Nashville Police Department responded to 29 calls this past week. On Monday, August 13th, officers assisted with traffic control along Interstate 64 heading East, after a single-vehicle accident occurred at mile marker 47 and ½. Officers arrested one man, after a routine traffic stop on Tuesday, August 14th. 21-year-old Cody Collins of Woodlawn was arrested and cited for driving while having a suspended license and for operating an uninsured vehicle. He was then taken to the Washington County Jail following his arrest. A 2-vehcile accident was reported on Wednesday, August 15th, along Holzhauer Auto Mall Drive. A tractor trailer, driven by Kevin Munro of Arnold, Missouri, was attempting to turn onto Route 127, in front of another vehicle. The driver, Megan Williams of Ashley, was unable to stop her vehicle in time and struck the trailer. No injuries were reported and a crash report was completed at the scene. Officers also responded to a report of an assault along the 700 block of East Gorman Street in Nashville. Two thefts were reported this past week. One occurred on Thursday, August 16th along the 17,300 block of Mockingbird Road and the other was on Friday, August 17th along the 900 block of South Herman Street. Two were also arrested this past Sunday, on separate incidences. At around 545pm, 34-year-old Andrew Polczynski of Nashville was arrested and charged with driving while having a suspended license, for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, later identified as heroin, and for possession of a hypodermic syringe and needle. He was then taken to jail and placed on a felony hold. That same Sunday, this time at around 1115pm, 28-year-old Brandon Rasch was arrested and charged for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of less than 6 grams of meth.
