A former Centralia man was sentenced to 9 years in federal prison, after he previously plead guilty to a 3-count indictment, charging him with distributing methamphetamine in Clay County. 52-year-old Bobby Bryan was recently sentenced to 108 months in prison, for distributing and conspiring to distribute meth. The US Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois, announced that Bryan had previously plead guilty to a 3-count federal indictment, charging him with knowingly distributing meth in Clay County on 2 separate occasion in July 2017, along with conspiring to distribute 50 grams or more of meth as early as 2015. The investigation in that case was conducted by the Flora Police Department, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office and the Illinois State Police Southeastern Illinois Drug Task Force.
