The Nashville Police Department responded to 15 calls this past week. On Monday, September 3rd, officers arrested 39-year-old Jeramy Wegman of Nashville, for driving while having a revoked license. He was also given a verbal warning for having a defective windshield. On Thursday, September 6th, officers had a morning call of stolen vehicles from Holzhauer’s. At around 622am, there was a report of 3 black males, who were wearing masks, that jumped the fence and ran into the car lot. While officers were in route, they were advised that there was a black male that was running northbound from Holzhauer’s, attempting to flag down vehicles. Nashville PD arrived and were unable to locate anyone. They later found out that 3 vehicles had been stolen from the lot and a 4th was found on the lot, with a shattered rear door window. One was arrested on Thursday night, after a call came in of a domestic battery. Officers responded to the 300 block of East Lebanon Street, where they eventually arrested 25-year-old Jacob Ross of Nashville for a domestic battery. On Friday, officers assisted sheriff’s deputies for a warrant. 25-year-old Andrew Sears of Du Bois was arrested for having an active Marion County warrant, with Sears being arrested along the 200 block of North Kaskaskia Street. 35-year-old Jessica Schneider of Nashville was arrested on Saturday night, for having an active Washington County warrant. Nashville Police conducted a traffic stop on Sunday afternoon, where they made 3 arrests. 26-year-old Oliva Schmittling, of Nashville, was identified as the driver, and was arrested for unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a registration sticker and unlawful display of a registration sticker. Police also arrested her passenger, 25-year-old Christopher Rybacki of Nashville, for unlawful possession of methamphetamine and issued him civil citations for unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Also arrested was a 2nd passenger, 23-year-old Bobbie Jo Sanders of Nashville, for unlawful possession of methamphetamine and for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
