The Illinois Department of Transportation will continue with a lane closure along Interstate 64, in Washington County. Lane restrictions will be in pace from Exit 41 to Exit 61, in both the westbound and eastbound lanes. Construction started yesterday and will continue through the end of November. Expect one lane of traffic in both directions from now until the end of November along Interstate 64 in Washington County. The lane closures are necessary in order to allow pavement repairs and new pavement markings. Motorists must follow all signs and drive with caution through the work zones, or use an alternative route to avoid delays.
