A man from Centralia was sentenced on Wednesday, inside the Benton federal court, where he got 17-years for multiple drug and weapons charges. 26-year-old Ryan Jacklin had earlier pleaded guilty to 3 of his 4 counts, in regard to the federal indictment. According to his 1st count, on or around September 12th, 2016, in Richland County, Jacklin possessed with the intent to distribute 50-grams or more of methamphetamine. His 2nd count was for that same date, where he possessed and intended to distribute heroin. Count number 3 was on that same date, where he possessed a revolver, and count number 4 was in Marion and Washington counties, where he conspired with others to manufacture and distribute 500 grams or more of meth, which is punishable by between 20 years to life in federal prison. Jacklin ended up getting 144 months on the 1st and 4th counts, and 60 months on count number 3. His 2nd count of possession with intent to distribute heroin was dropped, as per the plea agreement. He will serve at least 85-percent of his 17-year prison sentence, with a mandatory 5-years of supervised release. He will serve his prison time at the federal prison in Greenville.
