The Marion Police Department and their Narcotics Unit cited a man on Monday, in regard to drug charges, after receiving a complaint last week that drug sales were taking place at a specific apartment, at the Motel Marion along West Main Street. Police say that the target of the investigation was 35-year-old Carl W. Boyce. A narcotics unit detective, who was acting in an undercover sting, met with Boyce at the Motel Marion and conducted a controlled drug purchase of cannabis. A search warrant to search the apartment was then obtained and executed on Monday. During the search of the apartment, detectives located crystal “ice” methamphetamine, cannabis, prescription medication, packaging materials and weighing equipment. Boyce was then issued a citation for delivery of cannabis, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, possession of cannabis with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia. Boyce was then taken to the Williamson County Jail, where he is awaiting on his 1st court appearance.
