The City of Nashville would like to announce that they will be doing their semi-annual flushing of fire hydrants starting on Monday, September 24th, and go for 2 weeks, until October 5th. They will start on the north side of Nashville and work their way south. Some residents may experience discolored or cloudy water, or possible low pressure, but the water is safe to drink. Again those semi-annual flushing of fire hydrants in Nashville will start on the northside of town on September 24th, and continue south until October 5th. So if during that timeframe you experience discolored or cloudy water, or low pressure, the water is fine and safe to drink. For more information, call the Public Works Department at 618-327-8918.
