A Mt. Vernon many was sentenced last week, inside the Jefferson County Court, to 4-years in prison, in regard to charges of attempted robbery and attempted home invasion. Those charges are in connection to the 2017 botched robbery and shooting death of DeAndray Jackson. The other defendants in this case included John Wells, who got booked for 70-years on a murder conviction, Jarron Liddell got a conditional discharge for obstructing justice, Dantrez Brown for 3-years for obstruction of justice, Lamar Williams Jr 5-years for being a felon in possession of a firearm, Lekedrieon Russel 15-years for attempted robbery and attempted home invasion, Curtis Devan Jr. got 27-months for obstruction of justice, Gerrodo Forest was booked for 13-years for attempted home invasion, and Tony Feggins was booked for 4-years on obstruction of justice. The final man convicted in the case is Deon Frazier, who will be sentenced on related charged to the death on a later date.
