Centralia Police make an arrest to a resident on Tuesday morning, in regard to an alleged criminal trespass to a home along South Elm Street. Officers report that they responded to an alarm from a home along the 200 block of South Elm Street, where they found the main door to the home open. After getting in contact with the owners of the home, it was confirmed that no one should be inside. Officers then entered the residence, where they found 46-year-old James Garner, of Centralia, inside. He was then taken into custody on charged of alleged criminal trespass. Officers then completed a search of the large home, which used to be the House of Kai, and found nobody else inside. The homeowners were at work at the time of the incident, and confirmed with police that Garner did not have permission to be at the home. He was then transported to the Marion County Jail.
