Illinois man pleads guilty to robbing 5 Illinois banks, as part of a plea deal, in which he will not be charged for a 6th robbery in Missouri. A report came in that federal prosecutors said that 30-year-old Dandre Brown, of Godfrey, Illinois, admitted to 5 counts of bank robbery, along with one charge of transporting a stolen vehicle across state lines. Prosecutors say that from November 2017 through January 2018, he stole nearly $37,000 by robbing banks in Alton, East Alton, Edwardsville, Wood River and Godfrey in Illinois, along with another robbery in Florissant Missouri. He was identified, after dropping a robbery note that still had fingerprints on it. US Marshals took him into custody in Atlanta. His sentencing is set for February.
