Bail is set at $25,000, in regard to a Kell man, who was charged on Monday with a domestic battery and an aggravated battery to a police officer. This was following an incident where his wife was knocked down off of the front porch and struck with a chair. 53-year-old Frank Goff reportedly was found hiding in the back of his pickup truck, which was stuck in the mud near the home along Carter Road. Deputies had to eventually tased Goff twice, after he allegedly swung at one of the officers. This was while they were attempting to arrest him, but the two strikes had little effect on Goff. A sheriff’s deputy reportedly had to seek medical treatment, as a result of a shoulder injury that was sustained from the arrest process.
