Governor Elect JB Pritzker says that this administration will take climate change seriously.  The Democrat made the announcement during his inaugural address on Monday, that he will make Illinois a member of the United States Climate Alliance.  In other goals, Pritzker has already made his plans well know.  He pledged to change the state Constitution to allow a progressive income-tax system, that forces the wealthy to pay a greater percentage.  He also promised a capital construction plan, in order to modernize travel and reduce commutes inside the state.  He also is hoping to propose a gradual increase in minimum wage, in order to get it up to $15.
