A 9-1-1 call over this past weekend results in the arrest of a Centralia man, after he was found inside of a home, following an apparent forced entry.  51-year-old Michael Thompson was arrested and charged for the alleged residential burglary, criminal trespass to property and criminal damage to property.  Officers responded to the 9-1-1 call and reportedly found the glass to a back door of the home, along the 1200 block of Beach Street, broken out and with Thompson inside.  Police contacted the homeowner and informed them that someone was inside the home and Thompson had no permission to be inside.  Thompson was in possession of one of the homeowner’s phone when he was found inside the home.  He was then taken to the Marion County Jail, where he will remain while he awaits for his formal filing of charges and for bail to be set.
